Delhi 2 Dublin. “fuses the traditional sounds of tabla, dhol, fiddle, and sitar with cutting edge DJ aesthetics, to create a highly charged multi-cultural dance celebration.” Imagine the energy and cultural fervor of a huge Indian wedding party colliding with a bunch of drunken Irishmen dancing on a wooden table with fiddles! Delhi 2 Dublin is an electro-acoustic collaboration between five established world fusion artists, blending the traditional sounds of North India and Ireland with cutting edge dance rhythms and DJ aesthetics. Formed in early 2006, the group has been in high demand, playing at many West Coast festivals, including the well established Vancouver Folk Music Festival, the Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Fest, Shambhala Music Festival, as well as opening 2007’s massive Canada Day celebrations on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. Non Stop Bhangra Imagine a scene from a Bollywood movie smack in the middle of a thumping nightclub---the swirling colors, the rhythm of pounding feet, and the relentless energy of brilliant beats-that’s Non Stop Bhangra. Non Stop Bhangra is a non-stop party, featuring dance lessons with Dholrhythms dance troupe, followed by dance performances, live music sets, visuals, live painting, and DJs spinning an eclectic mix of bhangra, hip hop, reggae, and electronica. Non Stop Bhangra was founded in 2004 when Dj Jimmy Love teamed up with Dholrhythms founders Vicki Virk & Suman Raj, with the goal of bringing Bhangra to a wider audience. The first Non Stop Bhangra night was hosted to celebrate the one year anniversary of Dholrhythms by providing a dance space for students of Dholrhythms Bhangra Classes. Since then, Non Stop Bhangra has made this traditional style a serious dance floor craze in San Francisco, drawing Bay Area’s most diverse crowds to join in the frenzy. NSB is a destination creating sold out nights and write-ups as one of the best dance floor nights in San Francisco. Purchase tickets>>

Mukti is a band of spiritual seekers celebrating the love of the divine through music. Their lead singer, Prajna Vieira, has a voice that comes directly from Heaven, inspiring enthusiastic comparisons to Snatam Kaur, in both purity and presence. Centered in kirtan, the Indian tradition of call-and-response devotional song, the music of Mukti is a cross-cultural melting pot, with creative and spiritual influences spanning the globe. The music of Mukti includes original songs and chants in Sanskrit and English as well as new arrangements of traditional kirtans. "Our intention is to inspire peace, and everybody experiences peace in their own way. People will sing, dance, pray, and meditate. Kirtan is a spiritual practice -- an opportunity to open to Divine Love, & no one is going to try and define that for you. It's limitless. We all have our own special relationship with that Love, and the only question is, how deeply are you willing to be present to it?" said Prajna Vieira, vocals. Purchase tickets>>
